Need suggestions for my Scarecrow fear gas sprayer

Mini fire extinguisher strapped to your side under your shirt, length of tubing down your arm and out through tips of your gloves. You'd have to turn one shoulder and thrust out your hand in a misdirection gesture as you covertly set off a controlled blast from the extinguisher. It's an idea anyway.

Tubes running up your arm and gloves connected to a small gas cannister. Pack some baking soda in the end of the pipes and when the cannister is fired it will fire the dust out.
I was wondering, as youve shown intrest in my mask are you intending to make a movie version of the costume(though i LOVE your comic one)? In which case i have plans and screenshots for the screen used fear gas device.

Have you thought of using a CO2 pump system used for bikes?
Here is ONE version of it though there ARE other types you can choose from. Wouldn't be TOO difficult to rig a tube with some none lethal powder to get the effect.

It's alot simplier that all the mechanics and gas cannisters, We have monster breathing "smoke" at the haunted house.
Take a small plastic bottle, drill a hole in the top and bottom.
Now fill the bottle with baby powder
Take 2 really small hoses, insert one in the top and one in the bottom.
Seal around the hoses if you need to ( hot glue )
One of the hoses runs down your arm to your finger tip or wrist, the other up you mask to your mouth. ( we mount ours in the mask, so it's not always in your mouth but is quickly gotten at)
Breath out...a great puff of "smokey mist" fills the air...
best part is it costs about $2. to make

Wow, thanks for all the responses guys. Mike, I tried something similar to what you suggested. I filled a plastic bulb used to blow air on camera lenses with baby powder and connected aquarium tubing then tried squeezing it but the powder didn't make it all the way out and wasn't very dramatic. I may try your idea first and I might try using lime Kool-Aid powder just to see if it would come out green.

Sorry if this is an old post and nobody cares anymore, i registered to comment on this. Using the idea Mike presented, i expanded and changed a few ideas I think would make it awesome. Instead of having the tube attached to the mouth, it is attached to a pocketsized air compressor (around 35 bucks). The tube is connected to the bottle which has whatever in it, powder or just air, and have the other tube going through the tips or palm of the glove. Maybe a button on the palm of the glove that turns on the air compressor and the clenched fist would kink the tubes allowing the gas to be released when ready by opening fingers unkinking the tubes. I think it could work.
