Great thread on Vader boots. I am also using the cheep faux leather for the time being. I saw Sportsman's guide was offering the East German style boots again. Too bad they don't have larger sizes in stock for now.

BEWARE the East German boots!!! They are VERY NARROW! Every pair I have ever bought (7+ pairs) have been extremely narrow and tight across the shank (I wear a EEE width normally).

Hoping that the 12EE fits to size, really rough to find boots with proper widths.

Agreed! Too Tight boots can lead to a Gout attack! Worst Pain Evah!
