Need paint advice for vinyl kit

I am at the point where I need to paint a vinyl kit. My life would be much easier if I could use enamels on it....Is there something I could seal the vinyl with to allow me to use enamels. Chrystal Clear perhaps? Acrylic primer? Any advice?

You could just go easy and use acrylics all together.
OR just prime with an acrylic primer, or ANY water based color, then use enamels over top.

Yup - I just use primer and paint away myself.
