i want to know how to add lights to it...also what to use for the tear drop lights...do you have any pics of yours
Well the first question would be then, which lights are you wanting to light up? Just the flashing police lights? or all of the lights on the vehicle's exterior? Any on the interior?
Unfortunately the only pics I've got of any of the ones I've completed are pics of the one without operating lights on the vehicle. The neon sign in the background lights up though, hehe!!
One of the two I'm still putting together has working lights, but it's really gutted as I've gone completely nuts about it and I'm pretty much redoing the entire interior. So far I'm using a combination of light types for the vehicle... railroad mini strip lights for the side rear & front center lights. LEDs, EL wire, Lightsheet, fiber optics.... hehe pretty much any type I can find that fit. For the exterior police lights I've used some Tamiya strobe light kits, which are unfortunately discontinued now, but there are other companies that make similar products. RAM makes some, but you have to be careful of the sizing as some of them are for larger scale aircraft kits. Plus there are a couple guys on here that could easily wire you up something along those lines as well. The Anubis kit I have came with the transparent colored exterior lights so all I had to do was hollow them out.
i am going to light the whole car ...do you know how i can get the colored lights for mine?
