Need help with sticky-backed foam

In a lot of the screen used helmets I buy, I find a particular type of sticky back foam (EVA foam) of varying thicknesses. It always seems to be relatively consistent in density and color and is perfect for padding out a helmet, especially when you have two or three different thicknesses.

I have looked it up and find dozens of kinds available, but does anyone know the typical kind used by prop houses to line and pad out their helmets and costume pieces? I would love to get a source so I can always have some on hand for costuming.
