Not sure if this is in the right section, sorry if it is not. But it is for a replica prop. My Tardis. I have a sound card with the sound of the Tardis on, (it is part of a sound effects keychain). I have it set up to a subwoofer in the floor of the tardis, and when my kids go inside they can push a button and the sound effect plays and the floor vibrates (gives them the feel of moving). Anyway that is all well and good, but what about me?.. At night when I take my dog out I often look at the back of my yard and can see the outline of the Tardis and it gives me thrills. What I would like is to be able to also remotely activiate the sounds, maybe a little thing on my keychain or something, that I could press at night and enjoy the thrill of seeing and hearing the Tardis materialize in my own back yard.
so here is what I need to know, how do I make a manual and remote switch? I have no idea how to figure it out. I know its possible, because nearly every applaince has a on/off button and remote.
Can someone please help.
