Need Help with Darth Vader Harness

I wanted to know if someone could point me in the right direction... I'm trying to put together a Harness for Darth Vader's Chest Box, but I don't know where to begin. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

If you're going to wear it as a costume the easiest thing to do is get the leather straps and cut,tape, velcro, glue, whatever the top straps to the underside of the chest armor. It makes it much easier to wear/center properly. Then you have the straps that go all the way around your check and buckle like a belt. It's not screen accurate but since you never really see it on screen anyway who's to judge.

My top straps are about 4" in lenght and just velcor to the chest armor. I used to have them buckle but it was a pain.
