Never watched this show but I get a kick out of searching for donor parts. I’ve been doing a little searching so far, here are some of the directions I’ve scrolled through:
- Portable tape deck / cassette player
- Portable answering machine
- Portable cd player (more likely than tape, as it looks like that whole front section used to have an opening cover)
- Hot Wheels / Micro Machine carry case
- Portable water color kits
- Vintage “travel” board games
Nothing yet, though. Any other angles of the piece?
Trying to tell if that’s a power switch on the side up by the handle, or if that center bump on the side is a headphone/mic jack. Looks like whatever it was, though, it stands on those bottom pegs and had a shield or cover that would open down toward those pegs. I imagine there was a metal rod in that tiny middle section at the bottom that acted as a hinge for some cover/shield/door.
