So, planning to hopefully do a group Flash Gordon costume based on the 1980 movie, and I'll be doing Prince Barin, as portrayed by Timothy Dalton.
The look i'm going for is from the latter half of the movie, as opposed to the tribute scene at the beginning.
His costume isn't very elaborate, except for his green leather jerkin, which appears to be woven. And I'm just not sure where to start on it.
Has anyone tackled anything similar to this? I've not made clothing from scratch, put I know some people who may be able to help on that end. Or if there is anything out there that someone thinks could work as a base to work off, I would love to hear it. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!
