Need Han and Officer Tutorials

I need to upgrade my Han Shirts and do an Officer Uniform. I am ready to start learning how to sew and am just going to jump right into it. I am looking for Good tutorials on all 3 of Hans shirts from New Hope, Empire and Jedi. I already have a chief coat for Empire to work on. I am also looking into making the Black Imperial officer uniform. I need to know designs, what are good patterns to use or modify if any, what types of material and closest colors. I would really appreciate any help any one can give me. I am looking to make these on my own since others prices are to expensive for me. Thanks

Simplicity pattern 7274 is for Civil War uniforms, which I understand could be modified into Imperial uniforms.

We used the same pattern for ours. Lots of redrafting involved, though.
