Hi
So Ive almost finished my latest project (yet to start a thread...) and all thats really left is securing straps to the armour pieces.
The pieces are covered in polyurethane resin and painted with car spray paint and also lacquered (so finish is very smooth)
Now i tried hot glue, peeled off in no time...
Sanded the area and tried hot glu again, peeled off as before...
I then applied super glue, it dissolved the paint... Its still drying so no idea if its held.
Ideas/suggestions? I want something fast drying that ideally doesnt need a precise surface to surface join (like super glue does) and would prefer something similar to hot glue
Ideas ive had (but want advice on before wasting money):
- silicone sealant (the kind used to seal car headlight units)
- 2 part epoxy glue
thanks
