When it's weathered, it changes the look completely. This would be a great shadow box project.

Final Update... for now 
So, I'm calling it "done" and my Pirates of the Caribbean "Dead Man's Grotto" tableau now resides with my attraction shelf. Overall, I'm pleased with how it turned out. Thinking about adding a backdrop at some point, and blue LED lighting. But for now, this will have to do.
