Need a reliable release agent/material

Have a silicone mold, used Smooth-On's much-touted "Ease Release 200" spray-on agent. Worked well with one side of the mold, but the other side stuck to the resin piece. Is there anything that works well that can be brushed on so that I know that it's on good enough? I don't want to completely ruin the mold. Parts of it stuck to the 2nd pull and caused pit-marks in the rubber, and I consider myself lucky for just that to happen.

Thanks in advance!

Generally silicone doesn't stick to anything but itself.

What are you pouring into the mold?

Got pics?

Yeah, what he said... I suspect you have other issues like contamination or bad mix or??

The only time I have had resin stick to a mold is when they are dying and there is a ton of infiltration (staining) of resin into the surface of the silicone...

I don't know how much detail you need to maintain but you can spray or brush a layer of PVA release into the mold, it will form a visible skin so you can verify complete coverage, and it washes away with soap and water...
