That prototype is stunning! I've never really been a fan of the P2 design over the years, based on the McF and HT figures but this one from NECA has me converted. Even if the final factory version is half as good, I can't wait to grab one as soon as humanly possible.

The Gort is a very welcome surprise. I had always liked the HT Guardian predator but the prices... well the less said the better. Gonna grab as many Lost Hunters as possible too.

You know what I just noticed? The mask is attached to a dread-less P2 head, I hope this doesn't mean masked/un-masked variants. If that's the case, that's bull ****.

It does seem a little cheap, but it's a wise business move on NECA's part. We know how shrewd they were with the Wolf, Classic and Berserker pred variants and it wouldn't surprise me for them to recycle the P2 body with multiple head variants.

Yeah they already did this with the wolf Predator, which I believe is the predator figure that has a lot of variants. Its your choice if you get all or only the specific figures in the series, I know a lot who are eager to have the variants for the collection. What's important is, we're getting new predators in 7" scale which is great!

I'm just going to go ahead and ruin someone's day by letting everyone know that NECA has stated that the Predator 2 figure's accessories are spread out over several variants.

I really want a "Guardian" in the 7" scale. I have always been a fan of the design of the Bio since first seeing P2.

It's one of the coolest Bio designs IMO.

ya sorry guys but this variant thing shouldn't be surprising anyone, ESPECIALLY those of us who weren't cool with it the last few neca pred figs, and thoroughly voiced those opinions...

i really can't wait to have a masked, unmasked (possibly one closed one open mouthed), one armed with hopefully breathing mask, maybe a med kit in there, who knows.

i kinda like the idea of the masked one having the spear, unmasked w/disc, how it kinda went in the movie, i dunno, i'm so excited i really couldn't care less about buying a few of the hero pred in this case
