I'm glad they came out with a green version. I snagged this guy off ebay this week. I have to say, for under $ 300, this thing is really awesome. And it's much bigger than I expected. The paint job on mine is pretty good too. I would like to change out the eyes to glass eyes though. Check it out.

Nope, that's the factory paint job believe it or not. They supposedly improved the paint jobs on the green versions over the brown.

Is there any way to preserve these so that they don't just perish after 10 or so years? I would really love to own one, especially with the new paintscheme, but it is a lot of money to pay for something with such a potentially short lifespan

I have just ordered one, a green one from Entertainment Earth, $230 and then $120 postage to AUS... OUCH! Hoping it will be worth it!!

keep it away from sun-light and extremes of temperature and it will last for a long time alot more than 10 years if well looked after
