Hello every one,
well after 84 days here is the last few images of the model before it goes down to Milton Keynes for final assembly and mounting in the ceiling on display. This model has been a challenge in a lot of ways but it turned out quite good in the end, though I am not happy with the primer paint I used.
I went to my local Halford shop and got my Matt grey primer spary, but after using the paint I noticed that the paint was thinner in coverage and a lighter shade, not

the deep grey you would normally expect. Has any one else u PICA0000.jpgPICA0004.jpgPICA0009.jpgPICA0010.jpgPICA0012.jpgPICA0016.jpgPICA0017.jpgPICA0018.jpgPICA0019.jpgPICA0020.jpgPICA0023.jpgPICA0030.jpgsed this new updated spray ?. I think on future builds I will have to find a better spray paint.
Enjoy the pictures , please let me know what you think as this will help me to improve on future builds.

take care every one and keep safe,

best regards Barrie ( the old guy with a model making passion )

Nice. Looks like it has turned out pretty good. If you can get photos directly at the side, like the front, middle, back, and more if needed, and lined up best you can, we could stitch them together and try and make it one large complete photo.

Hello Yaris,
I have no idea how to get all the posts in the same place, I think it may be an age thing......if you can explain it in very simple terms maybe on my next build once I get the word from the museum I could keep all the bits in one place.

regards Barrie ( the old I need help guy )

Thanks every one, for your kind comments, as for a full shot of the craft I just wish I had the space to put it all together at one time (alas I do not )
so I am afraid that it will just have be be seen in bits (sorry guys ). On the plus side in a month or so after the model will have reached the museum and had its final coats of paint. Then it will be going on display. Once it does I will ask my friend at the museum to take some good photos and send them to me so I can post them for you guys. He has already given me my next assignment, ( which is top secret for now ) but all will be revealed here on this wonderful forum.

every one take care and keep safe, and remember ALWAYS CUT TOWARDS YOUR CHUM, AND NOT TOWARDS YOUR BLOODY THUMB,

regards Barrie ( the old guy with no space )
