Whats the measurement on those patches? I'm looking at one by pachesnpins on ebay that says it's 4 1/2" high x 3 3/4" wide

I've now picked up the trooper pants w/ stripe, a better nameplate, and upgraded my badges.

I stumbled across this forum and site in searching for places to build my own costume. Our client is AMC and I wanted to dress my son up as Carl, and I wanted to go as Rick. Great job on this!! Some great attention to detail and great links!!

Update:

Just finished up the Florida SuperCon. I got to meet Lauren Holden, Travis Love, Theo Crane, & Addy Miller ... Sadly missed Chandler Riggs somehow. I really wanted to tell him to get in the damn house! :lol Also, convinced my GF to dress as Michonne, so Rick and her can have a illict affair. :lol

Good stuff here. I had a question on the Quartermaster. Do they ship quick? I'm doing a Super Troopers costume with some friends and I like the gold hat cord better than the one I have, but I need it no later than next Thursday 17 April.

My best advice is to copy the shirts description and run a web search for similar items ... The tan/brown combination is pretty common (in the US) so I imagine its readily available from other sources. The one from QM just happens to be the exact one used in the show.

I've actually begun getting the pieces for my Rick Grimes sheriff outfit. I've even picked up a badge from the same place where you've gotten yours. I don't know how screen accurate I'll go for, but I'm more about getting it close enough than I am about dead-on accurate (even more so when I've come to realize the uniform top I found was for a woman, but it still fit me).

I do want to say thank you for the information about your build. I've got a feeling that it may help out.
