I rarely get the the time to build anything these days but finally managed to finish my old MPC-wing that's been collecting dust since the early 90's.
I truly had a blast building it to match the original ROTJ background studio model that was on auction a while ago. I tried to stay true to the ILM painting style, using only airbrush techniques and splatters, No wash was used. I built it like the original around a 10 mm aluminum tube, adding all mounting points to allow for different attaching angles. Only thing I changed regards to the original was the mounting point in the nose. Couldn't really stand sloppy look of the original hacked off nose with the funky hatch.
I hope you like it, really had a blast! Already planing for another one.
