Today I got... some small updates for my Tron-themed computer room and Display Cabinet...

(Sorry about the graphics intensive post)
I have a lot of unique things here, custom made, as well as some "rare" stuff. This obviously isn't "all" the Tron Swag and collectibles I have, just the "open" stuff I am proud to display. Updated with a few new pieces...

My room is kinda small, and my picture-taking skills truly stink. Here's the "walls" of my computer room taken from a perspective where I can actually hold the camera and shoot...

Yes, those are simply spin master toys I have hanging from the ceiling, and the other wall holds my 1982 Tron Trading Card display.

Here's where my "creme de la creme" stuff is. I have over 20 posters, I just havn't figured out where or how to display them. I'm also waiting for a decent frame for my End Of Line Club poster. Only a minor update here with a replica lit Tron Helmet at the top of the display.

Besides all the die cast vehicles (I know the white cycle is missing from the shadowbox, it's sort of in the display cabinet) is my Flynn Lives Arg collection.
The Flynn Lives black paper messages in the upper left.
Custom made pins representing every Flynn Arg badge that could be obtained in the ARG.
The SDCC Coaster and a custom acrylic coaster based on it in the upper right.
All the ARG tokens and blue holder, as well as a silver and gold Disneyland Electronica token.
A custom made Sam chip necklace (From therpf.com).
A custom made Alan Bradley Encom work badge (it's in the movie!).
The Flynn Lives Guest Badge and the Flynn Lives Arg badge.
The Flynn Lives Arg postcards, complete set.
Every Flynn Lives Arg pin, and a few "movie release" pins. All, pretty rare.
A custom made acrylic EOLC Map, movie-authentic (from therpf.com).
Tron Legacy pre-release movie admittance band.
In the background are pre-release movie "postcards" and screenshots.

Now, that display case in the above picture has six individually "themed levels". All the lighting is custom, and there's currently 5 "media players" playing various clips 24x7 (even when the lighting is off).

This is a internally lit replica Tron Helmet from theRpf. It's not my "final" replica, so this one is a little rough. But it looks cool enough sitting high on the display cabinet, until my new one comes in.

Yes, one of every spin master deluxe disc, including an AR Collectible original tron plate. The Rinzler disc is signed by Mr. Boxleitner himself, and the disc was modified with custom lighting and runs off of AC.

The amount of effort that went into this shelf is unimaginable and has taken me almost 3 years. I changed the SDCC Tron Vintage figure arcade (too big) for a Tron Tiki, thought it would look a little better. There's the Coleco football game and the original tomytronic video game. There's a custom Tron Arcade Cabinet, Space Paranoids Cabinet, and Discs of Tron Environmental cabinet. All were all custom made, and then further customized to include a media player and speaker so they are playing the actual attract and game play screens of the arcade. Maybe I'll shoot a youtube video, but these arcade machines are working!

The kevin flynn light cycle and wire frame cycle are on a custom base with an attached media player playing clips of the light cycle in the movie as well as some original light bike movie clips. Those are standard neca light bikes with the kubrick tank in the background.

Another custom base with a media player playing clips from Tron Legacy. This base was made for my 12" Disney pullback light cycle (or the sideshow lc), but I didn't have the heart to remove it from the package, so I just stuck two of my spin master toys on it. In the background is my favorite pic in Starfire glass of the light cycles. This glass is actually back-lit by color changing LED's so seeing it "live" is a lot cooler than the picture here. I have another baton prop from theRpf being finished, but until I get it I just stuck the spinmaster toy in there.

This is just a very small part of my collection of different "media". Some updates here. I got the laserdisc but it was too big, so I just added the original Tron Betamax and Intellivision game(s). I still need to get an Atari game in there.

Like most Tron memorabilia collectors, I have many books, magazines and comics. I've got an entire bookshelf that has my old Tron stuff stored. I decided for my display case to just include something representative from every era and no magazines. The two Art of Tron books (both original and Legacy) are there, my custom Digital Frontier book (therpf.com), and the only Tron uprising book I've been able to locate is in there as well.

Let me know what you think!

Renderinfo,
Absolutely amazing collection! Thank you for sharing. :)

Odd, I posted earlier in this thread but it did not show.

What is the textured piece behind the white light cycle? Is it a set piece or just a background for the Light Cycle display?

Thanks for sharing, looks great!

Thanks for all the comments.

That piece is actually part of the base and is about 1" thick, and is the actual "wall" and a "working door". The door is actually just painted wood, and the wall is come kind of colored styrofoam, I think. The lighting was built into the both of these bases. Seriously, some master "base maker" made these bases for me from Germany, and shipped them here to me in the US. He's a member on here (max-replicas I think), so these bases could be considered another "therpf prop". They're not cheap, but they are so beautiful (in my opinion). Again, thanks for the comments!

Thanks for the description. Great stuff you have there!

fyi, the images, nor the links work in that first post either. For me, at least.

Same here. I suggest uploading the images to your RPF picture album. I personally do not like having to log in to another online service to look at images.
