If you had an impressive home theater setup, I think it would be an ideal control station for all those bells and whistles. At the rate you're going, you should be able to have a complete TOS soundstage in about two years... Sell tickets...

I am hoping that is the easy part!!?? :cool

Black panels will be laser cut acrylic, and both sets of graphics will be covered with smoke colored plexi! :thumbsup

What are you using to fill in the seems where the hardboard meets? Some kind of wood putty, or maybe bondo?

You can use a flexible putty called Thin Ice it's for repairing flexible bumpers on cars and it mixes and sands like Bondo!

The gunk you see in the pix is excess Gorilla Glue! I caked the stuff on there to make a good seal, I will sand it smooth and try the stuff Kdawg1 suggested.
I was going to use regular Bondo but figured it might crack!!?? I have it so reinforced that it is real stiff but I know it will still flex! :thumbsdown

Had you considered LEDs instead of the Christmas lights due to heat/ replacement?

Just wondering how you'll wire it and maintain it.

Actually I decided on LED Christmas lights!......lots of light, No heat and one will be placed in from behind in each little hole!! One or two go out just pull it and replace it!!??? :thumbsup
