My Terminator Collection

Well I was getting ready to offer gracious compliments until I saw a pair of photos of my own T2 bust, which left me with mixed feelings.

I really do not mind you using this, as you haven't made any false claims about it, but I would have appreciated a request first.

I won't ask you to take it down as it is, to some degree, flattering. However, would you mind offering credit or mention of the fact that this bust is my paint-up of my collection?

(By the way, I did the paint work, not the casting)

PHArchivist: I've looked through his site... and I can't find what you claim to be your pictures. The picture you show as yours... I found a similar type bust, but not with your paint job, nor with real hair... am I missing something?
EDIT: Ah... found it under "On Order". Sorry about that.

dvdBirger: Nice collection. Appears you got some rare stuff. Just missing the ArgoNauts kits and some of the Tsukuda T2 kits.

Also... could you tell me something about the Hot Toys T-800... don't think I have heard anything about that one. Is it an Endo or merely a Schwarzenegger figure? Thanks.

Thank you :)

Thanks for the edit NHM. Also, when you click on the link I posted the URL address is from his site. Again -- I'm not really upset about it; my thoughts are already stated above...

Very nice (and comprehensive) collection with some exceedingly rare stuff.

I had an inclination you were from that part of the world, and almost asked in my initial post. ;)

Forgive me if this comes across as rude, but asking me if I'm sure it is mine as a completely ridiculous (albeit expected) question.

But no -- you don't have to take it down. Like I said, if you have a moment, pop a reference or whatnot on your site and its all good. Hell I don't suppose you even really need to do that; I'm not really a "glamour-monger". from a certain perspective I should thank you for the exposure. ;)

Welcome.

Sad to see that Hot Toys is apparently taking the McFarlane route with the T-800. They couldn't secure the Schwarzenegger likeness?

If only some company would just offer an accurate 1:6 scale Endo... fully plastic chromed and fully articulated and not made from bendable plastic... oh man.

Also... you really should check out the Tsukuda T2 T-800 - much better sculpt and likeness than the Horizon kit... though it's 1:6 scale. (the T-1000 sculpt looks a bit underwhelming, though.)

The one thing you could do for me is explain why this falls under your "On order" section...

This bust (my bust) is sitting on my fireplace mantle as I type, and has not nor ever will be sold to anyone...

Raw castings of the same bust are a different story, and one which I have no control over.

Not to step too deeply into another's business, but IF (that's an operative word here --"IF") you were told you would be receiveing the exact painted bust that is in those photos, I can guarantee you that you will not.

They pop up on eBay from time to time... but I'm looking for one too... so hopefully you won't bid against me too much, when one shows up. :lol

Don't worry, I will not buy this now since I'm saving up some money to buy the 1:1 Endoskeleton :)

Not sure if this is old news or of interest to you, but the Hot Toys Endoskeleton kit just looks cool, imo - and would probably fit nicely with the Tsukuda 1:6 scale Schwarzenegger kit. :thumbsup
