A friend gifted me this kit several years ago while liquidating the estate of another friend. It's the old "Captain Cardboard kit"AKA Scott Alexandar. Of course it's no longer available. As a Star Trek Original Series to the core type of guy, I was ecstatic to build this rather large model and have it next to my 1:350 Original series Enterprise. I strengthened the boom and attachment areas with brass tubing. The Ship's registry was air brushed on as well as the main green and grey coloring. I painted it as such because when I did it, My references , Including Greg Jein, said it was these colors. Unfortunately, The guys who would know and were around at that time are all dead.
I thought this may be of interest.
Many Thanks!

It is so nice to see one of these CC kits fully built up!- you did a wonderful job.
Scott accidently send me one of these while I had ordered his Big Aries kit. I kept the box sealed and returned it to him since there was a customer eagerly awaiting it, I never did see what it actually looked like.
I love the on screen shots- looks just like the TOS if they had better cameras back then

Sadly I never did get my Aries kit- Atomic City/Captain Cardboard went through some problems and I completely lost my investment...
