My Spider-Man Accessories

so i already have a thread in the junkyard for some of my spider-man eye frame designs, but i figured i should make a thread with the works in progress i have going on, so that my sale thread wont get cluttered up with discussion about parts, and kept simple so i can keep track of orders and inquiries with little confusion.

first off, the eye frame designs ive completed so far:

from left to right: Classic, Amazing (smaller), Amazing (larger), Reilly Scarlet, and Ultimate versions.

top left is the alternate timeline future style. top right is the symbiote. bottom left is the Kaine Scarlet, and bottom right are a newly reworked Amazing style. ive also got versions for agent venom, angry amazing style, and the new superior spidey frames, but no reference shots currently.


next are my logos. the goal is to have chest and back logos for superior, rami movie versions, ultimate miles, both scarlet spiders, and several of the variations from the amazing series. id like to push out all of the superior stuff first, and then move on to the rest. but so far all i have to show is the superior back logo, and the future foundation logo from amazing.

and now the part that im most excited about, SPIDER TRACERS! ive never seen someone offer something like this, so i figured i would get something worked up to offer. i sat down with DystortedInc (WHO HAS THE BEST SKILLS IN BLENDER IVE EVER SEEN!!!!) and got him to do a mock up of what i wanted based on my specifications. its still a work in progress, but i was too excited not to show this off as soon as i got it. lol. there will most likely be another vent hole or two, but the main body and legs arent going to change. plans are to have them either cast hollow, or to have them thick enough to be hollowed out for an LED or possibly a magnet. please forgive the low res pics.

as always, im definitely open to comments, suggestions, or questions about any of it. so feel free to let me know what you think!!

Hope I'm not necro-posting, but those spider tracers look amazing! Led and/or Magnets are a great idea!

I was thinking about getting some and attach a small flat magnet to the bottom, then I read you were thinking about putting some in plus an LED and I was just like... I NEED some of these!

thanks for all the kind words! ive got a print of the spider tracer in, and its been molded, but im not liking the way the mold is set up. the rubber separators for the legs are too small and feel like theyre going to break every time i demold one. but either way, ive got a hand full cast and theyre working pretty good so far!!

ive also pumped out models for various chest and back emblems over the past few weeks, and currently they are getting milled by a friend with a CNC machine. i expect to have them back in the next two weeks or so. im really looking forward to how they come out! ill post the various models below.

maybe next batch you design a 'pocket' for the magnet to sit in? so the prop is more flush?

Loving your eye frame selection. Have you thought about doing Miles' frames?. I thought the top right drawing you had were them, as they look similar.

i think i am going to try to either make a pocket for them, or maybe even embed them in the cast. the original plan was to drill a hole in the bottom so that it would have a little cubby to sit in, but the magnets i got wound up being a tad to big for my drill bits to be able to fit them in. next round im upgrading the magnets and getting more powerful ones, and dropping the size down. that should take care of both of my problems.


as far as the eye frames go, i am definitely going to try and have all of the variations by the time im done. ive actually got templates for the 4 newer ones cut out and ready to go, i just havent had time to sit down and sculpt them out yet.

Are these just for the purpose of household magnets. Have you considered double sided tape to manage sticking the tracers on things other then metal?

thats definitely what ill use if i ever have to stick it to anything thats not metal. they were originally made just for fun and to stick to spidey villains at dragoncon. lol.
