So I made My son a Megatron Tank version "Transforming costume" I made it for Halloween and he didn't wear it instead I had to go out and buy him one of those Optimus costumes from the store but as the months go buy he's realizing how cool it is and wants to wear it now so I took some pics, what do you think?

Note it's a bit dusty from sitting on his shelf...

Now this is me explaining to him that hes grown since Halloween and I'm going to have to make him a new helm because he has a BIG head...

What do you think?

I think this is one of the coolest costume threads I've read in a long time:thumbsup There's nothing better than bonding with our children!

Awesome job! So does he want to wear it everywhere? My youngest would wear her batgirl costume everywhere if I let her.

I feel your pain , i made my son a optimus prime costume ,and when halloween came around he wanted to be a zombie skater

Yes he wants to wear it all the time and keeps asking me to fix his helm... I keep telling him you sculpt and mold this commission and I'll get rite on it!

I'm in the middle of making him his Captain America costume as well as the Flash and a Green Lantern... I think he thinks this is normal...

Thats great, really cool job, i to love seeing kids costumes on here, i've made a couple over the years for my son, this year he can't decide between iron man or a cyberman

That's pretty sweet...honestly, the first few pics I was like, okay it's cool, it's a cardboard setup, nice...then the tank pose came along and that's when you had me, heh. Great job! thanks for sharing!

My son is Transformer Mad at the Moment, this thread has inspired me to have a go and do something for him,

well done its fantastic :thumbsup

I think the tank pose really makes the costume, he really looks like a tank! Love it, really do.

That's so cool, even I want one!
Seriously, that's a cool costume. I made a cardboard generic robot costume for my son years ago, and he got a lot of mileage out of it that year - Cub Scouts, Church Fall Festival, School Halloween Fall Festival, and finally, Halloween! It's in our storage building right now.
I've loved all things robotic since I was a kid, thank you for sharing, and I hope the two of you keep on having fun!
