Hello all, brand new member here. Really marveling (pun intended) at all of the amazing skills everyone has here. Thought I would share a project that was all my own, that I am quite proud of.

There are a bunch of photos, for the whole story you can just click here if you'd like (it's a link to my photography blog):

Basically we took our Son's play room and converted it to a Marvel / SHIELD themed play room.

It has costumes and props:

Funny thing about that comment....my Wife and I have been trying to adopt for about 3 years, with no luck. Oh well. ;)

Wow. You get my vote for coolest parents ever, amazing work. I love the frames costume/props idea, really inspiring

Thanks for all the kind words. The white rectangular things above the costume props are blank canvases from Michaels. I think they are either 12x9 or 11x14, wrapped on 1/2" wood frames. If you catch them on sale you can get a 7 pack of them for about $15.

My so loooooves to draw, mostly super heroes. So we gave him a shelf full of blank canvases so he could help decorate his own room. ;)

Thanks for all the kind words, it was a super fun project. We have since added a Lego Iron Man Hall of Armor on the toy shelf. This is a closeup, there are 12 different armors in total. They are those faux Legos from Ebay. The HoA was built from scratch using pieces that you get in those buckets for $15 at the Lego store.

Unfortunately the colors were very limited, so the HoA was green and beige to start with. Had to spray paint it silver and black. ;)

That is an awesome room how did you do the massive S.H.I.E.L.D logo? Is it painted or a sticker?
