My Silent Hill costume and props. Graphic intensive.

My Pyramid Head costume: (This is not the film version, it's the original game version from Silent Hill 2.) Yeah, I know I'm skinny. Working on that My arms were also painted but it faded off as the day wore on.

Bathroom set from Silent Hill 2. It's from the beginning of the game.
My set is on the left, the game screencap of the bathroom on the right. Ignore the tape on the glass. I had just glued the mirror to the wall and wanted to make sure it didn't slip while drying. I also still need to paint the tile the proper color too.

Wow, that's really... creepy. Never played Silent Hill, but yeah... that's pretty creepy.

Nice job on the costume, though. Looking at the screen cap and comparing it to your picks, I wouldn't say you're 'too skinny', but the game version is a little more defined in the arms.

All in all, I think you did a darn good job capturing the character which is really the important thing rather than getting every little nuance exact.

Why does he wear a pyramid on his head? What's the purpose, and why not something else? (something lighter and easier to wear?)

Costume looks outstanding BTW compared to the game caps. Great job.

It's a strange metal version of an executioners hood. The game designer also designed it to look painful for him to wear as well.

I saw someone with this getup at a comic con in Liverpool NY Nov 1st this year. I had no idea what it was yet I was compelled to take pictures.

Here is another reference photo.

Keep in mind that I made the costume as it would look in normal light. In Silent Hill Pyramid Head is usually seen in darker gloomy locations so the helmet and robe look darker. I'm planning some photos that will be in more accurate settings, lighting wise.

Yeah, something about Pyramid Head just seems to make people want to take photos even if they don't know what it is. Looks like the movie version though, pretty cool.
