Shouldn't this prop have the same demensions as the V2? Weren't they cast from the same mold or machined to exact measurements? Great progress BTW. Can't wait to see it finished.

Thats true they are based off the same casting. However, there is limited photo reference available of the V2... its rumored Mark Hamill still has it.

Can anyone else confirm that this is identical to the V2? I'd never heard that before. I would certainly make my life easier, since I have a stunt saber BP.

Its not identical to the V2. The Graflex clamp has more holes in it. The stunt doesn't have the little cone shaped thing by the pommel. Also the stunt doesn't have the emmiter nipple. It has a sunken hole ala the Obi ANH. It was used in ANH as the Obi stunt saber.

Can't wait to see this finished. The stunt Luke ROTJ has been my favorite saber since I first saw it in the VD...

nice question.
I made this pic for you. by this pic we can know stunt is from V2. but there is lots detail different. If the stunt is just resin copy from V2. then some detail will be changed by mold works.
as we haven't clear pic of V2. I keep thinking these years if I want build the V2 I have to build a nice stunt first. use this stunt as base. recover the detail from stunt to V2. then I can build the totally different detail measure V2.
so you know the V2 will be my next project.
