My Rocketeer Costume w/ Original Rocket Pack

This is my recently completed costume. The boots are original 1930s US Cavalry boots that fit like they were made for my feet, the breeches are original 1930s Cavalry breeches in exc condition (the reason Golden Age Army aviators dressed this way is because the Air Service was originally part of the Cavalry), the jacket and pack harness are South Beach Leather, the gauntlets are made from layered aluminum and finger splints, and the helmet is Studio Oz. The pack is my idea of what Peevy would have built and since the Electrolux Model 30 was the Art Deco vacuum of the 1930s it was the perfect choice. The Ambrose in the logo is Peevy's first name and FM stands for Flora Maxwell (of course). This whole rig is very comfortable and looks good!

Thanks! I was wandering around the cold and musty basement of a century old vacuum shop and I tripped over it in the dark. One look and I was hooked!
