wow your johnny 5 is so cool, but why is he so angry looking. he looks ready to kick both robocop's and the terminators ass.

:lol . It's his expression from the part in the movie where he gets angry. I think it gives him the best 'look' with the most character :cool

There seem to only be a handful of these left for now. Search 'Johnny 5 Robot' on eBay :thumbsup

When I first started reading this thread, I thought to myself, 'this guy is obviously not married, has no kids, and no pets either.'

Then you mention your wife (who must be an amazingly accepting woman), a son (must be well behaved) and a cat (ditto).

You have an inspiring and amazing collection.

And I must ask, where did you find the tablet from The Last Crusade? Would love one of those, and your looks fantastic.

Re: My Prop Replica Collection - New Arrival - SHORT CIRCUIT - Number 5 .... is alive

:lol ... and thanks.

.... but you are wrong.

I have a wife, THREE kids (21, 19, 14), the cat (a spoilt brat if ever I saw one :lol), AND 2 dogs.

Once upon a time, the entrance to my prop room was a wide-open arch-way and I could walk in and out as I pleased.

Not any more.

I got the tablet from a small run on COW some years ago, by enigmatawood IIRC.

The details are very well made, and it's light, so very 'hangable'.

Here are some more detailed pics

Re: My Prop Replica Collection - New Arrival - INCEPTION

These in today. The totems from Inception :)

Re-painted the poker chip to give it a close-enough screen look, and the top is currently sitting in vinegar, as its first anti-shine stage :lol.

I like the bishop best of all :thumbsup

The Chips are pretty much totally dulled out due to poor lighting here

But assuming the outer rim is red, this is what I think the chip's colours would be :)

Nice looking lantern, how big and where from ?

Re: My Prop Replica Collection - New Arrival - Hellboy & Green Lantern

I'm so ridiculously jealous of your Johnny 5.

Re: My Prop Replica Collection - New Arrival - Hellboy & Green Lantern

Thank you kind sirs :)

The lantern doesn't light up, but it makes a great paperweight :lol. It's so well made at 1/4 size, I couldn't resist :) Just search on eBay or Amazon Alric :thumbsup

Re: My Prop Replica Collection - New Arrival - Star Trek TNG - The Inner Light

Another 'always wished for one' replica added today :)

For the not-so-trekkies, some trivia.

In Star Trek - The Next Generation, in season 5, there was an episode called 'The Inner Light'.

In this episode, Picard's mind is taken over by an alien probe.

Within 25 minutes under its influence, and unaware of what was happening, Picard is made to live a whole life-time as an inhabitant of a planet long-since destroyed when its sun went nova. He got married, had children and grandchildren, and got old.

One of his favourite pastimes was playing the Ressikan Flute.

When Picard wakes up and the probe is retrieved, 'his' flute is in a box in the probe.

For me, this is the best and most emotional episode of The Next Generation series.

The Ressikan Flute subsequently appeared in other TNG episodes, as Picard did not loose his love of playing it.

The original flute prop was auctioned at Christies in 2006.

Heavily under-appreciated and under-estimated by the auctioneers at $1200, it sold for $48,000.

So this replica put one heck of a smile on my face and made my eyes well up a little :)

Re: My Prop Replica Collection - New Arrival - Star Trek TNG - The Inner Light

You're right, "The Inner Light" is one of the best of TNG, and that's a really nice looking replica. (Does it play?) Actually, the box is an impressive replica, too!

Re: My Prop Replica Collection - New Arrival - Star Trek TNG - The Inner Light

Awesomely done.

When that show aired I tried to get rights through Paramount legal, who I was dealing with at the time, to sell that replica and they thought I was insane! :lol

Re: My Prop Replica Collection - New Arrival - Star Trek TNG - The Inner Light

Thanks guys :)

Yes Felgacarb, it plays. But I can't :lol

Well apollo, it just goes to show the shortsightedness of studio-related people and how deeply they underestimate what a fan is and wants :thumbsup

Very nice! I hate to ask, but what'd it run you? That episode is hands down my favorite as well. One of the great things about the episode is Patrick Stewart got to work with his own son playing the son of his character in it.
