After my latest addition to my screen-used/production props…I decided to finally create a thread of the movie props I own from the film the Rocketeer…My first movie prop started with the male companion piece in Neville sinclair’s room which lead to many other props.
I got most of my props from Disney auctions, dave stevens estate, former crew members, and stage manager. Etc etc
Design Setters Production Helmets. These came from the original mold. Painted with the same paint as the screen-used helmets. Everything is original. These were made during the same time as the Hero helmets ..The helmet to the left is the raw casting from the original mold. I have proof of their lineage and they came from a design setters crew member. The lenses are kept in a box for safe keeping.
Production-Used Lower Harness Buckle. I got this buckle directly from a Crew member that worked on the film.
Production Model Bulldog Café with pieces from the MGM Bulldog Café. Also, a HERO-Screen-used Bulldog Café Menu.
Huge Painting Movie Prop used in the radio room scene where Jenny finds out neville is a nazi
10 Foot Painting Movie Prop used in Sinclair's Layer where he threatens Eddie Valentine with sword (covers my whole wall)
Companion Statues used in Neville Sinclair's layer (Behind Jenny aka Jenny Connelly when she wakes up in neville's bed) and south seas bill menu holder prop
Production storyboards for the animated short nazi propaganda film

Production Stop Motion Puppet helmet on top of Rocketpack, gauntlets, and harness production sketches and notes
