My OST Jack Sparrow Project

I'm new on the RPF and have really enjoyed looking at all the amazing talent you guys all have. I don't have the talent others have, but have had a ton of fun putting my On Stranger Tides version of Jack. I did a boat load of research before I started to buy pieces and have found what I think is the best stuff available. Although I was a fan of Jack since the first Pirates movie, my daughter really likes Captain Sparrow and wants to have a Pirate & Princess party. She's five. I figured, what a great opportunity to have fun with this!

I started with ACME belts & baldric with a Master Replica Sword

Master Replica flintlock, Swag Arts snake vertebrea mermaid charm, & mankey pelts with claws, and a second flintlock that I distressed to match the second pistol Jack carries in OST.

E-Bay palm glove distressed by me, Swag Arts trophy lace, Costume Base Dragon & Stolen rings, Nobel Collection Skull ring, and ACME sash distressed by me.

Amazing CAboots OST boots. They just came in the mail yesterday, I'll distress them soon.

I have Yordreem OST wig, breeches, shirt, and the first OST vest on order. I should have this stuff in a week or so. I also bought a Nobel Collection Flower ring and Ms. Mazie beard & stash that are both in the mail.

acme sold one on ebay abt a month ago for 80 U.S.

Robert at ACME sold one on E-Bay for $80 and I bought it. I figured that if I was willing to pay to have the gal on WIKI Jack Sparrow Costuming to weave me one, why not buy the ACME one. It was cheaper than having one woven by about $40.

No, but I'll take some. What would you like pics of on the boots? CAboots are just the biz! Super nice and very comfortable. I'm going to feel kind of bad distressing them....

You are off to a fine start mate. My only suggestion for now would be when you get you're gear from Mazie, you invest in a bottle of Telesis 5 to apply it to your face. It holds up 100x better than what Mazie supplies.
