My Office/Prop Room/Museum......Pics!!!

It took me so long to get through this thread my log in timed out!:eek The museum just gets better and better Dave. The blood sweat and tears you've put into it is really paying off, its a marvil to look at.

That Star Destroyer is stunning and the case looks great. Doesn't interfere with the beauty of that model one bit.

MR gave me the rod idea....they used the frosted rods for the falcon and I started thinking hmmmm how bout crystal clear rods instead??? Hence what you see. I'm about to start the mini Blockade runner that is in scale and suspend it from the docking bay via 3mm clear rod as well. at some point I'll wire the SD with a wireless remote switch so I can work the electronics without touching the case.

Thanks TMG, I have tried to keep it that way. I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep things uncluttered forever, there are just too many wonderful studio scale models and helmets to drool over........LOL.

I prefer the updated case for the SD. It's worth going the extra mile for some of this stuff as it shows off the pieces more, with a touch of class.

Thanks man, yeah it appears to be more "important" in that glass case. Gives it a completely different feel. I hate dusting glass cases, but I hate dusting the SD more so.

Dave :)

Here is another addition this morning. Finished my ATAT driver helmet. It's a combination of an RA kit, The machined details from Elvistrooper and a set of super accurate decals I found on Ebay. I made some of the greeblies by hand.

Dave :)
