Hey folks,
In continuing with my tricorder kick, I decided to rebuild my old 29th Century Tricorder. I want to do this whole thing from scratch so, I decided to remake the graphics on my own.

I'll make these public once they're done, but I'd appreciate any advice on these as it's my first go at it. Once the final draft is done I'd be happy to post it up here for any who wants them.

So far I only have the top graphic with the screen done. I'll post the others as they are ready to go. Thanks!

On a nifty side-note: the gradient used for the screen is a pre-made template in photoshop.

Dear God! I just spent 3 hours doing the second set of graphics. It was just about finished and photoshop crashed!!!!!!!! I was an absolute idiot and didn't save anything.

:cry

I'm gonna take a breather and see if i can't muster up the strength to go back to it tonight.

Very nice. On a side note, did you use to live in the Sacramento area and happen to host the first NorCal prop party?

Good work! You might want to check the radii on the corners of the black area and the gray area behind it. The corners of the screen area on the clock are a different radii than the buttons below it.

Yes, a lesson we ALL learn sooner or later! :facepalm

You can set Photoshop to autosave for you. I have mine set to autosave every 15 minutes. This helped a LOT last Summer when the power suddenly went out.
