One of my two favoraite SW ships, I want one.

Can't wait tosee more progress/finished shots of yours.

This and a SS B-Wing are my "Holy Grail" Studio Scale kits.

Cool looking so far, will you use LED's in the back of the ship?I have seen a few done in this manner and it turned out uber.

anyone have trouble with the rear hatch?
I had to sand mine down quite a bit more then I should have had to before it would fit at all between all the lock thingys.

I need that koolshade looking part too. Waaaaaahhhh!:cry

Good thinking. Looks very nice, and I like the way it preserves a "window" function.

I have been thinking of trying to get some scans of the fine molds TIE model decals...

And blowing up the cockpit interrior ones, using that and some styrene sheets cut to shape to dress up the cockpit a little bit.

Somebody have a precis idea of the interceptor color ?

Michel

The original color is no longer manufactured, name escapes me right now.

So here is one solution someone used........

I created a mixture of Tamiya Medium Grey (colour number 81720) and Tamiya Medium Blue (colour number 81718) to get a blue-grey-ish tone to use on the cockpit and wings.

Also Rustoleum Country Blue is another I might look into.
