MY Master Replicas Enterprise

I received my Big E yesterday, it has the same problems that everybody elses seems to have. However, I am just blown away with the overall size of this beauty. The only thing that really bugs me aside from the known issues with gaps, varying gridlines and bad masking in certain areas, is the weathering on the front. I just looks bad to me, but I guess I'll deal with it.

And here she is on her new display shelf along with all of my other MR TOS props. I just need to get a display case ordered and this display will be completed. I have seen a couple of great options.

And just for kicks, with the ERTL 22" Enterprise.

I guess I should have dusted the ERTL before I took the pics...

Thats a great display you have going there with all the MR TOS stuff stacked.

The model has it's nits, but step back two feet and it all melts away.

I graded my ship a B+, still debating if I should order another and see if I can get a shot at one of these perfect ships some folks have claimed to get.

Great display..
I'm so looking forward to getting mine tomorrow.

You do know the weathering is supposed to be on the saucer right?

How does a ship incapable of atmospheric travel get weathered, anyway? :p

It looks great, though.

Well, too be honest it can go in the upper atmosphere as the one show in season 1 has it in the air with the airforce jet spotting it in the blue sky proves that.

Besides it gets it's weathering form all the space travel it does. Micro metorites, Nebulas, what ever else it travles through.

Apollos giant grubby hand, space amoebas, time warps, powerful fields from deflector shields, tractor beams, space battles with all kinds of alien ships, galactic barriers, etc etc.

She has earned her "beauty marks" and wears them well I think.
