My Klingon Knife!

Hey all!
Well one of my biggest wish was to have a real prop of the D'Ktahg Klingon knife and now I have one from Enterprise the episode The Augments. I also wanted a replica of one so I measured the prop and made one myself, it's made of resin
Here is the unpaided finish prop

The real prop was in bad shape when I got it so I did some fixing on it now she is good as new! (OH it's not for sale LOL). Now for my replica I'm going to have to repaint the blade, the paint I use for some reason did not like the resin LOL. So far I only made one and don't plan on making another since I'm working on some other props and costumes but you never know?? LOL

I think that's generally the case, isn't it? A nicely done replica is almost always in some way an idealized representation, even when it's 'weathered'. Although I love my screen used props as well, for the money, I find I often get more enjoyment from handling an elegantly made replica.
