My Ironman MK VI Foam Build update 18/9/2012 First Ever Suit Up and Outing

Re: My Ironman Mark 6 Foam Build update 15/5/2012 Helmet/Neck/Chest/Shoulders complet

No just 3 coats on PVA Auto primer and auto paint weathered with household emulsion tester pots and a quick spray with that clear silicone spray you spay your bumpers on your car with it just adds a little shine and stops the nits sticking together.

Hi mate, loving your work been following your work for a while now.. Im trying my hand at making my own suit... You mentioned you used auto paints can you tell me what the brand was and the names of the couours you have used.. please

Re: My Ironman Mark 6 Foam Build update 16/7/2012 suit complete!!! Yay

Ok ive been looking at my pics and really dont like how the back looks because im a big guy i think it makes the back look really small so ive had a re-model ive added extra panels to the sides and i think the gap behind the neck was missing something so ive added an extra panel there as well see what you think

Re: My Ironman MK VI Foam Build update 22/7/2012 New Hands made

Hi guys just got a small update, After getting told off by my girlfriend for being lazy with my iron man gloves and spoiling all my hard work by just using paint ball glove painted the same colour as the suit with a light glued on the front i decided to take the plunge and make some proper hand thanks the the files from j0wE and Stealth i think they look ok alot better than my old ones anyway lol, I just need to seal them now and give them a coat of paint.

see what you think......

Re: My Ironman MK VI Foam Build update 22/7/2012 New Hands made

Those gloves will finish your suit of nicely mate, i especially like the free hand work you did to the neck and arm holes....i think you get those spaces if you don't build the brace section.

Currently in the process of building my own armour having been inspired by watching your project take shape over the past few months, my first attempt did not go well as i forgot to cut angles where the joins are and it turned out really blocky:facepalm...although if anyone wants tips on how to do a lego iron man then you know where to come:lol:lol

Re: My Ironman MK VI Foam Build update 26/7/2012 Hands Painted and wethered and light

Those gloves came out super clean mate, i especially love how you have weathered your armour....really adds realism to it.

Looking forward to the final suit up picture now
