I also often try to display as many of my props on the walls too, but I have never thought to attach a shelf to a poster. What a great idea! I definitely plan to use this...

I like it. what kind of shelf you have used ? I have searched at IKEA already for something similar, but nothing.
Could be finally a way to present all those small props for so many films......

Thanks for all the comments! All I used was a piece of 1 1/2" wood, painted it, and a little dremel work. I used the dremel to cut shallow slots for the chips so that they could stand without adhesive. Also drilled a small notch so the top would stay in place. I used strong double sided tape to secure it to the poster glass.
