So, this is my first attempt at really putting together a cosplay. I've gotten a lot of good info from here so I figured I'd throw mine into the mix. Here's What I have so far:
First off, here's my foam build helmet. I got the template from Helegak on here. It's my first foam build so its a bit rough but I love it. That being said, I CAN'T WAIT to get my resin cast from Davy.
My jacket is closer to the comic book red than the movie maroon and I put a ravager patch on the chest as well because I saw it on my Star-lord LEGO minifigure and liked the look!:lol I painted an old walkman to imitate the real one, because I'm not paying $400 for one. The tape works but the motor in the player is a little slow.
This was my first jacket. Leather covered EVA foam for the armor. Didn't allow much movement so I went with the one above.
3D printed boosters from Etsy attached by magnets too my custom boots.
My replica Infinity Orb and gravity trap. There is a magnet inside my orb so it actually snaps to the trap! Wasn't going to include it in my costume but its a great display piece!
My replica Element Guns! Modified Nerf gun. Sanded warning labels, painted, weathered and added oxidation, clear coated them and then wrapped the handles in carbon fiber vinyl before putting them back together. Not perfect at all but fairly screen accurate if I do say so my self.
I'm going to be working on my belt, pants and holster tonight so there's more to come! I hope my stuff may give you guys some ideas. Like I said, my first time doing any of this stuff so be gentle!
