Built this in about 4 afternoons of work, for my 8 year old as a Halloween costume.
I started with a cheap dollar store halloween gas mask and but up layers of burlap and monks cloth, mostly using hot glue to get the shapes to hold up. I just wish I'd taken more pics of the mask building.
I'm pretty proud of my hood and mask, ran out of steam / time on the shirts and pants, and had to scrap the fear injector gauntlet (my son didn't like the weight of it all the time on his arm) all together.
I started too late in order to do the outfit proper justice. But I had so much fun building this, I plan on reworking this one after Halloween, and then starting on something I can spend a few months getting just right. Maybe starting next Halloween's costume now will give me the time needed.
Thanks to alot of people on this site just for showing off their great work, so much inspiration to a newbie.
