I'll also step in and say the unwrapped foil on the food bar is extremely well done.
Super nice job on the Sidkit, also.
Far as the guykit vs the Sidkit,
ANYTHING we build ourselves deserves a special place in our collections,
whether it is putting a nice finish on a kit or turning mass-market junk into art.
The acrylic stands are also a nice touch.
The only bad part is that collecting Firefly is like disease.
Just when you think you're cured of needing anything else,
just-one-more-piece comes along!

Thanks! I used a zinc patina on it that did some weird things but it did make it look used so I was pretty happy with the result. The thing is heavy as heck!
