My Finished Custom Lightsaber

Hey guys, just wanted to post a few pics of my custom lightsaber. I designed this several years ago actually, but it was a long time before it actually got made. A very good friend of mine machined it for me and made a few others for himself and some close friends. So there are a very small number of these in existence. The cool thing about it is that they were made pretty generic so that each person could customize them as they saw fit. So from a certain point of view, we all have the same, but each one is uniquely our own. Anywho, the blank saber started out like the cg model pic and this is how mine turned out. So, If you've seen another similar saber here or on another board, now you know why.

You know, I usually shy away from threads with the title 'custom' saber, as they never seem to exhibit any beauty for me.

It's rubber but not inlaid. It was a rubber grip from a pocket knife

Top-notch job man. The design is solid and really does look like a fully-fleshed out lightsaber. I particularly like the slight weathering job you added. I'm just wondering if it's a Jedi saber or a Sith saber. My initial assumption is Jedi, but w/a shroud like yours, you never know.
