Did a search and didn't find a thread dedicated to the presidents phone in FE. The subject seems to be popping up here lately. I have the 2 Sony RM-X2S commanders but would like to get some more info on the LED's. Both the rectangular LED that is smaller in one pic of the prop and the round one on the side that onscreen looks to be white when off and red when lit but in the prop pics i have seen it is red when off too. I think it just looks white because of lighting glare but maybe someone has info to the contrary. It's more than likely there were multiple phones built so maybe there were discrepancies between them.
There is also the little switch on the back. It has a groove in the center and i think someone once posted pics of an Exactra calculator that used the same switch.
I want to include the handset for the radio in Zorgs ship also. Corbin uses it to talk to the pres on the way back to Egypt. It is just half a pres phone with a coiled cord. Not sure if there are other differences on it.
