Hi everyone :) , I have a full costume for display and another one for trooping.

Here's 3 small videos I took today with my costume for trooping.
I made my outer cape longer,( the videos are dark sorry for that, you may add more light on your screen )

here's another pic next to the door.
I think I'm around 6.55 ft almost 6.6ft in full armor, so it's not that bad compare to the Dave Prowse size in armor.

Holy Blown Up Death Star. There are a lot of new Vaders in the 501st all of the sudden :)

mikajedi, very nice ROTJ Vader you have there. You should be proud. The Dark Side flows through you.

Hi guys :) I had a problem with my original lenses on my trooping helmet.
I decided to add a new set, now I think my costume looks better,
the lenses change everything. what do you think?

I think I like the bubble lenses better but I think all in all, it looks great. Me and you are kind of the same in that we are both over 6 foot 3, so its kind of nice filling in the armor without padding and not having to get chunky soled boots:) Nice car collection too, are those 1:18?

Thanks, my cars are 1:18 :)
Well about the lenses I decided to change the bubble version because they are broken...
So now I prefer the flat version because the old bubble lenses on this helmet remind me homer simpson :)
I like the OT lenses when It's well made, I have other helmets for display with better bubble lenses.
Anyway as you said all in all it looks ok, I think that the flat lenses give a threatening look compared to what it was before.

The bubbled lenses are probably a huge pain to see out of but look much more accurate in my opinion. The flat lenses give the helmet a rubies look. I think the bubbled lenses make it pass for what could be a screen used helmet. If safety is an issue though, maybe the flat lenses are the only way to go.

gotta agree, i liked it better before, looked alot more OT... now it looks more ROTSish...

but also agree, for trooping, if you were to fall and break... everything, well you woulda wished you woulda had bubble lenses so you could have seen where you were going.

so, its really up to you, either way prob nicer than ANY vader ill ever have. :(

What kind of armor is on the shoulders? It looks really good with your helmet. I love the chest lights too.
[/b]

Well my armor is simply a GT and my chest box is GT clone (portumac)

Anyway for the lenses, It's a question of taste some of you don't like this look or some people think : It's ok all in all It looks good even If these lenses are not accurate and are ROTS.

I really think It looks not that bad when you see it in person .When you are use to see it It's not that shocking. May be one day I'll find the perfect lenses for this helmet...

I think its looks great even tho I havent seen it in person.:)
I decided a while ago that with 4 differant suits with lots of variation depending on which frame of the movie to watch, that Im not going for movie accurate, Im going for "character" accurate. Who's to say Vader doesn't wear differant masks depending on his mood that morning?
