My Crack at the Game of Thrones Dragon Eggs.

Started with three found paper mache eggs...


Marked and sprayed the "stone" on the bottom of the eggs using a textured spray paint...


Took several 1mm thick craft foam sheets and stuck them together using spray adhesive...


Drew out some scales...


Cut them out using my scroll saw to save a lot of time...



Adding scales...




Found a chest that seemed like it would be a good fit...


Success!


Finished the first egg...


Blending the stone bottom with the bottom of the scales...


Repeat two more times...


Paint!


Finished!

Very nice. I bought my wife either season one or season two of game of thrones, and it came with a scaled dragon egg.
