My cousin is an amazing cardboard artist! He recently made this awesome 8' by 9 1/2" Titanic model out of cardboard and other everyday items. Here is a vid on the tube...

Just imagine what he could create with the budget and materials that the pro's use. This is his third Titanic. I've seen these models in person and the attention to detail is just mind boggling!!! You should see the Grand Staircase!

Years ago, he also made a cardboard model of the original USS Enterprise from the Star Trek TV series. This thing was 3' wide and 5' long. He took it to a Star Trek convention in Kokomo, IN in 1997. He had it hanging from the ceiling and was auctioning it off. The price got up to $200 before the glue holding the hooks began to fail from the heat and...yes the Enterprise came crashing down!:cry:cry:cry
Anyway, I wanted to do this for him because a person with a talent like his should not go unnoticed.

stunning. simply stunning.

but yeah, I did have to turn down the volume.

That is so awesome! How long did it take him? I would think many many hours at the work bench.

Workbench ? With cardboard ? ;)

No really, that is fantastic. How did he make the patterns, old school without using pepakura I assume.

Nice model, but the video needs to be silent, and there's already a post in the modeling section where this should be.
