Well, there is about 80 hours of work in just the suit. I would say there is about $1,500 in the costume. Like I said before I made the suit back in 2004.

The first mask made in mid 2004

I know why soo many dont finish a chewie as they are soo damn hard to do and get the "look" right.

welll done

WOW! :confused Looks great bro. It's a shame you don't live here in Jacksonville, we could keep you REALLY busy with events in a costume like that. Of course with a costume of that caliber, you will be "event busy" anywhere you are. Great job!

Awesome costume but a word of advice...avoid the backwoods of Georgia or you could end up in a freezer on YOUTUBE.... :)

WOW...Nice to see it's being used again. It's too good to just be sitting in a box .

:thumbsup

I just got my costume, and I'm still working on the height. I have platforms that are about the height of yours, but I'm 5'11" and only added 8 feet with the shoes, and maybe one or two more inches with the mask. My mask does not have a movable jaw though.

I'm glad to be in such good company. I have a bowcaster on order. I even changed the bag on my bandolier, as I used kept the strap, but the new bag is a much softer leather. I do have one advantage, and that is my eyes are naturally blue, and so were Peter Mayhews.

I was standing around for about two hours before we began marching in the Holiday Balloon parade. I kept the mask on for the entire length of the parade, which was over an hour and a half. Luckily the weather was cool because we were right off the water.

Here's a link to the video of the parade:
