Finished this a couple of weeks ago, but wanted to share with you all. This is what got me started in doing props and then lead me to this site, which is a treasure trove of ideas to try.
I loved playing the Bioshock games and when my Daughter wanted to dress up as a Little Sister for Halloween, I decided to make a Big Daddy doll for her to carry around. Then it spread to "Why not just do a Syringe too?" and after a long time it is now done... I then wanted a way to display this the other 363 days of the year, so I made a port hole display with the city of Rapture in the background. The last thing I need to do with this, to finish it, is to make a brass end for the back of the syringe.
The Syringe can be turned on/off by using the handle, and can be broken down to fit into a carrying case, or repaired. The needle is spring loaded, so it looks like it goes into your "Angels", but really retracts back into the handle. The Porthole is just a $4 clock from the dollar store and some tacks.
I have a couple of projects on my drawing board up next, so I'll be posted them as well when they are completed. Thank you for taking time to jump in here and see my projects.
