My batpod build

Been wanting to build one for a long time and thought it would be too much for me to take on but last week i thought i would give it a go.
This will not be a working bike just a prop for the mancave.
Bought some used Hoosiers 90 11 15
Not the correct size but big enough for me.
Today i made a rough template with pvc pipes to give a idea of what im building, its a bit crude but helps me find the center line ect to build it with steel tubes next.
Next is buying the wheels, working in the auto trade helps
I am going with fence post tubing and fittings, easy to work with and i can keep changing the angles by adjusting the end clamps till im happy with the angles then i can take it to work to do all the welding.
I could never make it movie accurate but hopefully it comes out so people will know what it is lol.

got some wheels today.
not screen accurate but this is a budget build and they only cost me $45 each

Started on the front fork. was going to use fence clamps but cant get them big enough so will be welding everything.
I got the wheels from a mate in the trade, second hand 15x10 sunrayshia 4x4 rims. saved me a few bucks there.
Used trailer hub and stub axle. its not gonna run except for my mates pushing me so dont need to add brakes
More cutting pipe this weekend.

Been a little swamped for all my free time lately but spent a few hours on the weekend on my Pod.
