I'm not sure, but Ralph Nelson was the still photographer at all three movies. Maybe he shot the poster photograph too?

Steve Schapiro. Fantastic photographer who did a lot of work for LIFE magazine, but also did some movie photography for posters and whatnot.

...I know his wife. It's the only reason I know.
